Interview

Hi. I had my interview for CLS at KUMed Friday. It went awesome, or at least I thought it did. Of course, getting to KUMed took all of 5 minutes, as did parking, so I got to anxiously wait for 30 minutes. I first had to take a written portion of the interview, which consisted of a few logic questions and an essay that assessed your character. It had questions like "Your friends all want to go out and drink, but you have your final exam tomorrow and need to study. What do you do?" Because I have absolutley no moral fiber, this part was difficult.
After the written portion, it was on to the speaking part, which I was most nervous about because I tend not to be very verbally articulate. It was a breeze also. I even got to mention that I have a pet rat! The whole thing probably went well because it was my dad's birthday, and I'm sure it was good luck.
Saturday went well too. I had to serve dinner at a fundraiser, but got to spend the majority of my evening working in the soda bar with Chad. It was for a 16th birthday party, and those kids were HAMMERED. I don't want to sound old and crusty, but really, I can't imagine being 15/16 and be stumbling drunk at a party at which I know there will be parents. Weird.
